As promised a little closer to the time I would update everyone on the progress with this release.

I have now found a printers and all the material is finally added (including a new book test!!)

The book is going to be signed, physical form and is going to be very limited release.

I will be printing 75 copies, only selling 50 (the other 25 are for friends and will be distributed how I see fit ;) ) There will be no pdf's or instant dowloads.

Because the book is limited and the routines are very dear to me the book will be more expensive than my usual releases.

I have had a lot of interest, to ensure you are one of the 50 can you PM me or email me at

Peterturnermind@hotmail.co.uk

Just to ensure I secure you a copy and from there I can give you more information.

Also as promised all purchasers will get a link to one of my skype lectures (with the name routine included) :)

The effects on the book are they for the stage/parlour or can they be performed close up?

Kieran
Message: Posted by: Peter_turner (Apr 13, 2012 6:26am)
WOw Crazy night, thank you for all the messages everyone!

The effects can be performed close up, parlour or stage (there are no real limitations). There is only one effect in the book you may struggle to perform close up as it uses five subjects.

There are still a few places umongst the lucky fifty.

Pete

Exactly how expensive is it?
Message: Posted by: Peter_turner (Apr 13, 2012 3:15pm)
Hi Maxpax,

If you need/want any information inbox me, I know that sounds rude (I do not intend it to). I just really wanna keep this behind closed doors.

Thanks,

The price point on this is premium, does anyone have any resources for Peter's previous work? Or even a website of his that's working? It's a high price for what is for me the first contact with this new contributor to our art, without a track record?

Appreciate the feedback guys.

Hi Ken,

Some background information.

I am twenty four years of age, I got interested in magic at five years old. I have performed for several years booked every week twice a week (if you need confirmation of that go over my facebook page and you will see all the posts on my wall). I have made a living as a performer and only this last couple of months slowed things down (purposely as I invested in a company).

I have removed the website for now (as I have prior engagements and I am ok for bookings.)

I released a book with Kenton Knepper, he liked my work and openly admits to being fooled with what he saw me perform. As a result he had to get the rights off of me that work was entitled "Devious Realities".

(There are many reviews, from various sources online).

I then released a second book

"Dare to be bold"

Which was released via the lybrary. (again there are reviews online)

The only reason I am not linking you to the material is I don't want this thread removing. (its easily found)

I also performed for many, many people around the world upon request from the Café (trusted people, since then there have been many more)

Who's testimonies can be found here

http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?topic=459325&forum=15&63

I was also asked to be part of an Africa project with Amira, Scryer, Kenton, Banachek, Luca and many other names

http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?topic=445006&forum=218

There are many, many pages on the Café where people have commented on my material all easy to find.

I spent my time performing for a lot of real world people, making a name for myself in the community is not something I care about. I love to perform and I love to create. I put a high price on the material as the material is not second rate and with the book you get an hour long video. (which includes my name routine)

I also have someone very well known writing me a forwards ;)

Hope this straightens a few things out,

Pete

I for one can highly recommend peters material.he has as for as I know two ebooks- "devious realities" and "a symphony of silence".
I have a symphony of silence and imho is one of my best purchases and I highly recommend it!
I have been talking to peter through pm's every now and again and he is a top guy! He has given me sound advice when I needed it and trust me he is a really creative guy,the more of his thinking we get the better!

The minute I heard that peter was releasing this new book I sent him a pm letting him know I'm 110% in!
Trust me ken you won't be disappointed with peters work

I agree on what you said above Kieran, Pete is a real creative person, just lastnight he burnt me real bad with a esp prediction....That was awesome!.. Then we talked about other things, I do honestly say that Peter is a very nice/gifted person, and like I said, very creative..
Message: Posted by: Biovf (Apr 16, 2012 9:56am)
Now with the effects description I know this will be really great book. Really great stuff!

Man I liked Symphony of Silence but this one sounds so much better, can't wait to know the Name/Place routine too :)

I ask Peter to share his thinking with the community. He truly has a devious creative and different mind.
He isn't a newbie at all and his ideas and experienece are the best proof.
Yes, its not cheap but that's a way to get exclusivity.

Best
Message: Posted by: gabelson (Apr 16, 2012 12:56pm)
Peter's thinking, and work (IMHO) is second to none in the art of mentalism. I truly believe his material is revolutionary.

He is a very young man with an unlimited future, whose effects ring more of real mindreading than anyone I have come across. I don't say that easily. The material Peter showed me on Skype took my breath away. If you have any doubts, set up a Skype session with him. It takes awhile to build a legacy, but I believe Peter will go down in the annals of mentalism along the likes of Cassidy, Geller, Annemann and Dunninger. And I do not say that easily.
Message: Posted by: brehaut (Apr 16, 2012 1:09pm)
I have purchased based upon what I know about Peter and other comments. Also, I am supporter of limited releases and exclusivity. I think it makes absolutely sense in our art. Although its not perfect, its one way to fight UTUBE exposure, etc. Looking forward to it.
Message: Posted by: Nicolino (Apr 16, 2012 3:17pm)
I've already read the book and Peter's really bubbling over with enthusiasm which shows in the effects. He's using dual reality wherever possible, which is a great start for any effect! :)

I've Just spent over 2 hours this evening chatting with pete on skype as welll as last night and he has me really excited about his new book! He did the name/place routine and totally fu#ked my head up,
It is the closet thing to real mindreading I have ever seen.
He also went over a few of the effects in the book, one of them which is best suited for a couple, when pete told me the story about it it gave me goose pimples!
As I said in a previous post he is a top guy and I'm previliged to have spoken to him!

Hello Everyone!

I received an email from the printers to tell me all the books are printed and on the way to me! I promised everyone I would keep them in the know every step of the way...I am excited ;)

The moment they land on my doorstep they will be on there way to you first class!

I have a small, small number of books left, two people messaged me this morning (you know who you are) and have claimed two of them. If you want yours now is the time to get them as there won't be many left!

I have kept the book very private with just a couple of trusted reading it before it hit print (again to protect the exclusivity). I said I had someone special writing the forwards, I can now reveal it is the greatest mentalist on the planet at this time (other than me ;) ) {all jokes a side}..Bob Cassidy

Here is a little quote,

I am very impressed with Peter Turner's creative and innovative approach to our art. He is at the forefront of a new generation of mentalists to whom, in a very real sense, the torch has been passed.

When you've read and tried the materials in "Bigger Fish," I'm sure you'll agree that the torch is in the right hands.

It's an important book and I highly recommend it. - Bob Cassidy

Talk soon,

Pete

You hit the nail on the head!

If anyone is interested in retro looking (aged) esp cards, I have a friend who has started production of his brand 'Zenger' cards or Zener 'G' cards (either way is correct).

They are amazing; the feel, look and size are fantastic!

Unfortunately, the planet is Uranus and I'm the only one here.

Other than that, this is a great piece of work and I sincerely meant everything I wrote in my foreword.

Just got mine in the mail today. Literally just opened it. This book is a beauty! On top of that, there was a letter attached that held an unexpected surprise for something I thought was quite trivial. It really wasn't necessary, but Peter shows his generosity and customer appreciation with it, so thank you.

I do have a lot on my plate at the moment, but I eagerly await my time to sit down with this.

Not in the effects, more in the simplicity and ease of explanation.

I have been giving this a first read this weekend This is one of the best books I've read in awhile. The material is powerful, well thought out and explained. I know a couple effects will immediately go into my repertoire. Further , as another plus the book has made me think about how to improve some effects I am already performing. Well done Peter!
