First, I would like to confess that my “Copentro” is really a Silver Odyssey II, granting me a few extra powers, but most everything I did can be done with Copentro. I was permitted a station at a haunted house at a YMCA that I built a little routine for using the help of two teens who liked the idea of lightly scaring kids. Previously, I built a Pepper's Ghost head into a hood which I put atop a black rider’s cloak for a body. The Silver Odyssey was set on a small table in front of this 7 foot form, with a half dollar in the shot glass with another glass inverted and protecting the shot glass. As I wove a tale of the old west and a poker game gone bad, the red interior of the empty hood lit up. Then the coin was removed from the shot glass for closer inspection, and apparently in anger, a scull slowly appeared in the hood. In an instant, the coin vanished from my hand and reappeared in the shot glass. Ghost appeased, the scull slowly vanished and then the lit hoot faded to dark. The visitors were thanked for their kind attention and asked to move on. One point I would like to make with this approach is that just because a prop can do something 10 times, does not mean you need to use all 10 times in a performance. Use the number that best entertains the audience and fits your situation and patter. If you have more questions about the routine, feel free to email me at magicalpass2@aol.com. If warranted, I could post some more details in the secret sessions area. Keith PS: The ghost died in a move from one home to another. May John rest in peace. [/quote]
