Unless you are Shaquille O'Neil I'd say palming is impossible with Jumbo Cards!

I've been able to get an Elmsley count with the Jumbo cards but man, it's a lot tougher!

Let's pull together a list of sleights which are impossible to perform with jumbo cards and maybe we can collectively come up with solutions to accomplishing these sleights.

Why do we care?

Because, maybe there is a way we can accomplish these moves either by finding another method or by changing the technique. I am getting into Jumbo Card magic and would like to see what the limitations are. Relax Frank!

The more appropriate question is what CAN we do, because 95% of card moves are not possible with jumbo cards.

DLs are not that hard to do with jumbos...if they spread a little it's usually no biggie b/c jumbo card magic is usually done further away and it's not noticable...

Table riffles are possible, but you have to riffle the corners and push the deck together....

Much good jumbo card magic can be done with a DF card...from transpositions to changes...this eliminates some sleights for those types of effects and looks much cleaner on stage, whereas sleight of hand methods look better close-up...

The Orion count can take place of a flushtration count with Jumbos, and looks pretty cool too...

That's just a little brainstorming from me...

So, I think Jumbo Card to wallet (or somewhere) could work using something
like the murcruy card fold.

I think that coming up with a way to secretly fold a jumbo card could have
a good use.

You can fan cards and you can do a couple classic false cuts with jumbo cards. You could also do a t*lt with jumbos. By the way, Frank Starsini, where can I find the documentation of the mercury card fold. I've been looking for it for some time now.

I wonder if you can Erdnase color change a jumbo deck...?

Maybe if you have extraordinarily large wrists! I'd like to see some of these hot-shot flourishers do their fancy-pants cobra cuts with a jumbo deck.
