This could be put in a couple of places, but as it is an e-book or pdf, I thought I would post the question here. I did a search and found a little on the books, but not a full review.
Anyone have a review of these books: http://www.magicnook.com/pvcpipe1.htm Thanks much! It sounds interesting. John |

I just bought them. They are okay. I don't feel they are worth the full 90.00 for all of them. MOstly basic illusions redone with PVC Piping. And they really are CHEAP! Some of them are clever while others aren't. I would suggest buy a full book. don't just buy one. You may feel disapointed when you revice your one, but you may not with the full book.

Thanks for your advice. Think I'll give this one a wide birth

As the author, I shouldn't get involved in the review process and you certainly shouldn't listen to my advice about whether you should buy or not, but I actually would have given brandonford1982 the same advice he is giving others- don't buy the whole set if you don't need them. Try one in which you are really interested and see if you like the idea of making an illusion out of inexpensive PVC pipe materials. Then, if it works for you, consider buying others. The way the individual illusions are priced, you don't save too much in buying the whole series unless you really think you are going to build an entire show out of PVC pipe (and even I am not THAT cheap!).
If you want to test the PVC concept for free, consider making a chair or some other useful piece of furniture from Brooks Owen's Workshop Plans also accessible from The Magic Nook Website. If you had a tough time making a PVC pipe chair, you certainly would not want to make Merlin's Throne Illusion. As with all magic plans, please use common sense when making your purchases because once you have bought an idea, you can't return it for a refund!
