Hello everyone!
Are any of you familiar with the rope routine described on the poster Daryl markets? A few years ago I saw him perform it (beautiful in his hands), and can’t remember the name of it! I’m curious if any of you have actually perfected it and your thoughts, opinions? Thanks! Steve Landavazo

Oddly enough, it's called "Daryl's Rope Routine." I have it, and it's very good, although. like most current rope routines (including Aldo's and my own) it borrows heavily from George Sands. It is also fully explained on his third A-1 rope video (which is volume 8 of the "Expert made Easy" series), but I think you can still get the poster version directly from Daryl.

I don't know about the poster, but I perform a rope routine that is mainly based on Daryl's Rope Routine. It is one of the mainstays of my street act, and it has served me well in other venues also.
Ropes can play so large (as in you could do this routine for a very large audience). Also, Daryl's Rope Routine has so many effects packed into such a small space. Certainly it depends how you count, but when I do the routine, it is 6 minutes long and there are about 13 or so magic moments. On average that's about one effect every 30 seconds. There's plenty of room to modify the routine as well. I have some other things that I sometimes do with the ropes before the Professor's Nightmare section, as well as there are many ways out of the Professor's Nightmare if you so choose. This routine is a real worker for me. In thoughts, Allen |

Hi,
The rope routine is a combination of sandsational rope routine (unique rope routine) and the professor’s nightmare. Yours faithfully :devilish: Dan Kirsch |

The A-1 video is called the Great White Rope and also has his jumping knot of Pakistan routine on it. You can still get the poster from Daryl as well as really nice Japanese rope that is a little spendy, but still my favorite to use.
