I've had to make a new account because I've gotten locked out of my old email address. . Is there anyway that I could get borntopreform deleted? Or should I just leave it and not sign on?

Welcome am new here too

Hello fellow magicians and mentalists from all over the world,

I just quickly wanted to say hi from Germany - as I am (kind of) new here (once again). I used to be active in the Café around 2005 (user name back then: Bugatti) but after a while I stopped posting stuff (still passively following a lot of your posts though). Lately, I wanted to reactivate my account. However, as you can imagine I forgot my password and the mailaddress I had registered with in the first place didn´t exist anymore as I had finished university in the meantime. Well... To make a long story short, I had to re-register with a new username, as my mails to the Café (begging for help to get my old account reactivated and redirected to a new email-address) were left unanswered. Whatsoever - this gives me the opportunity to introduce myself a second time to the community.
I have been into magic since childhood, switching to mentalism some 10 years ago. I am performing on a laymen- to semi-professional level - no big gigs so far, but lots of small shows (max. of 80 - 100 People) for colleagues, friends, friends of friends, etc. I don´t think, I´ll ever make the step to a full-time pro, as I do like my regular job quite a bit and regard mentalism as my greatest passion and as means to find a balance. However, I have a rather perfectionist attitude to mentalism and being a layman doesn´t mean that I also want to perform like a layman. Or as one of my early mentors used to phrase it: You should always reach for the stars, as long as you keep your feet on the ground. That should be enough from me - Bugatti is dead, long live Bugini! ;-)
