Magical Greetings & Salutations!
I created an effect that I demonstrated at my local Assembly, S.A.M. 31 here in Indianapolis. Afterwards Harry Riser suggested to me that I should publish it. So I figured the best place to publish it would be in M.U.M. I have just a few questions: 1.) Who should I contact to submit it to? 2.) What format pictures are best? 3.) What should I avoid? And any other important tips and suggestions that anyone might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Respectively, Chris

Greetings Chris,
The best way to submit something to the MUM for publication is to go through John Moehring, editor extraordinaire. You can submit your effect in writing in .pdf format or in Microsoft Word to John at mumeditor@sesamemag.com. Photos should be in .jpg format or if you have the actual photographs you can send them to him in the mail and he can scan and will return them if that is easier for you. I would recommend you drop him a line and tell him what you have and he will be best to advise you on what and how to send it. Best of luck and I look forward to reading about the effect. Don't hesitate to contact me if I can be of any assistance. Keep a dream in the making Maria Ibanez President Society of American Magicians |
