Thank Mike,
I met Mr. Grippo in Las Vegas years and years ago.. I was told all that you have to do was walk into Caesars and tell them your a magician and he would come out and say hi to you. We were told he is very busy so not too be disappointed if he doesn't visit long. Apparently, there was a Royal Family there that kept calling him back to their table, Mr Grippo told us later that there was enough gold in jewelry at that table to restock Fort Knox. As it turn out, he took us down stairs, fed us dinner and did almost of full hour of close-up magic. I remember he did a card to sealed envelope in his breast coat pocket that really threw us for a loop. I'm still not sure I've figured it out even after all these years. There was much, much more but that one still lingers. I remember thinking that I was sure I could catch him at something. I figured he must be nearly 80 and almost blind, his glasses where at least 1/2" think. I was 26 and I was as sharp as a tact. I was sure I had the upper hand and I would catch him at something. But he's was smooth as a cat. When he was done after nearly an hour of tweaking our brains and corrupting our sensibilities, I sat there just stunned and amazed wondering what the heck had happened. He was truly in a class by himself. Great, great experience. Thanks for bringing back the memories. |

Good Grief, I watched that show when it first aired.
And I still don't understand how he did any of the magic. |

Mr. Grippo`s magic was maybe bold regarding methods but very effective! A true hero of magic... how can I forgot the open prediction he did for orson wells?
