Originally posted this in Inner Thoughts as this is for a mentalism effect, but getting no answers there thought I'd try here...

Searched for this before posting but couldn't find any info, so here goes...

I'm looking for guidance on how to re-seal a packet of store-bought index cards. Have thought of creating my own sticky price seals, but everything I've come up with so far looks pretty fake. Can't imagine no one's tackled this before... Can any of you more experienced folks point in the right direction?

Thanks so much!

I have actually re-sealed a package of copy paper with a small, hobby-style iron that is used for applying Monokote, a model airplane wing covering, and fusible Pellon interfacing, which can be found at any fabric shop. The interfacing is sort of white in color, but you probably won't notice it since the cards are white.
Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before...

Would heat-shrink plastic wrap work? I've never tried.

That's my suggestion. It works wonders with a deck of cards.

It certainely will.

As for the price stickers - peel them off the original package carefully, and simply apply them to the resealed one.

You can even buy heat seal CD and DVD pouches - oh, the possibilities.
Think inside the box. . . it's less crowded.
