How would "Foundations" and "Maximum Entertainment" compare to Joanie Spina's "Get Your Act Together"?

I do not know Spina's book (as I got my act together
 ), but "Maximum Entertainment" which is not only a terrific book but also a must read. It is totally different because preparing you for the real work. Jan

As far as I know Joanie Spina's "Get Your Act Together" is a video. Or was it ever published as a book? Some great advices there as well!

Hi all:
I apologize first for bumping up this old thread. This wonderful (Foundation) book has been out of print for many years, and I have a friend in China who is in a stage magic performing team; her team has been expecting to read this book for years, but couldn't get a hold of it. You may have seen the new thread I posted, and some very nice people suggested purchasing a German version and then translating it into Chinese using computer translation tool. This concerns my friends because computer translation usually produces unsatisfying results. So I wonder if anyone who got book is willing to sell it. We can discuss the price with my friends, so both sides will be happy. Thanks a lot. and I apologize again for bumping up this thread. |
