Hi -
S.A.M. assemblies have the option of opening membership to youths 14-18, but that is up to the Assembly. You should contact the assembly that is near you and ask.
I understand that membership in an assembly is appealing, but if that option is not open to you, you can become an associate member of the Society of Young Magicians; you don't have to belong to an assembly. You will get the Magic Symbol, the SYM magazine, on-line, and you will have access to mentors should you have questions about magic. Go to http://www.magicsym.com to find out how to join the SYM.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

In Magic,
Marlene Clark
S.A.M. National Secretary
