Hi guys
I want to learn how to spin a book on my finger. I can get the thing started but it falls off after about 3 spins. I can't seem to give it momentum. Is it a case of just practicing until it clicks or is there a definitive method to master? Cheers Andi |

I am assuming that you are referring to this...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Padiddling This link gives an Ok description, basically it is an off center spin. So that by cranking or moving he finger back and forth a little bit one can maintain a spin on a flat object. It is easier to start with something wide, flat and with a little bit of weight. Caféteria trays are good, Couch pillows that are square and flat, larger size books, etc. It does take practice and lots of experimenting to learn this technique. However, once you learn it, it is adaptable to a lot of objects. One of the most visual I have seen is a juggler who padiddled a large, colorful, inflatable kids pool, Looked great. Good luck. Check around on the web, there may be more resources out there. AL aka Steve
