Hahaha! Nice!
The hat he is wearing in the video is in my spare bedroom as I type this! Sadly its one of the few "Harry the Hat" hats that survived Katrina.

WOW! Sad to know. = (
Very cool that you own a piece of history like that. I'd have it in a dust free glass case never to be touched by Human Hands.

I wish I could keep it, but sadly I have to mail it back to him. He just happened to leave it here while working on a secret project. Though maybe I can hold it for ransom now, as I now he has a copy of the Maltese Falcon that would look great in my apt.

My all time favorite performer!
He is why I got into magic, he is why I've stayed into magic and why I am now moving forward with magic. He has inspired me greatly.

Thanks for sharing this, it's a classic for sure!

Wow, great clip. The more I dig into the shell game, the more I like it's broad use and appeal. Magicians and mobs alike are playing the same game, the only difference is how exactly the money is collected. Entertainers get paid up front right?

That clip is from Harry's '86 Showtime special, "Hello, Sucker." The woman on his left is his first wife, Leslie, and the sucker is former stand-up comic (and now writer and sometimes actor) Turk Pipkin.

The music choice (Scott Joplin's "Solace" rag) was inspired.
