I have ideas useing desolving paper, I remember as a child
eating a candy from Japan with rice paper wrapping. I am looking for a source of disolving sheets of paper. Leinad

I remember that same rice paper when I lived in Japan. I think there's other dissolving papers that aren't exactly edible, but for rice paper I'd suggest looking on candy making sites.
No trees were killed in the making of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

I found a water soluble paper in Edmonds Scientific. It is rather expensive.

I think rice paper and water soluble paper are different thgough rice paper does disintegrate in water but does not disapper completely.
Rice paper is the main secret behind an Indian version of Copperfields 'brick wall illusion'! |

I don't know what effect you have in mind but here in England you can buy water soluble fabric too.I've often thought it would come in useful even though you cannot eat it of course.

Water soluble paper was mainly used by bookies to eliminate evidence should the police unexpectedly arrive. Just drop it into a bucket of water by the desk and it was gone!
I do not know what is used in the manufacture of this paper, but I would not try to eat it. |
