Has anybody fooled around with the Selec-Trick deck? I got it recently after reading the review in Genii. I have found that the effect is pretty strong, but I'm having issues with figuring out a good way to present the effect besides the "here I have a weird deck of cards and it does this trick" presentation.
Magically as always, Robert For those of you who don't know what trick I'm talking about, it's This One |

The effect has been done before, over ten years ago, but I certainly recall it.

What was the version that was done over ten years ago? And does anybody have any presentational ideas?

Yes, I know I'm talking to someone who asked the question seven years ago, but still I think the answer is simple: this isn't for everyone. It works best for someone who doesn't work with cards, that is, someone who can say "look, I'm not a fancy card magician, I'm just a jerk who can do THIS with the deck, OOOPS!, sorry I guess you can see the cards are actually all sewn together!"
And the effect which follows finally provides purpose and motivation for "exposing" the workings of the classic electric deck. |
