I am looking for something flashy as I produce some scissors for the cut and restored rope trick. I have seen some scissors that as you open them they are twirled and it looks very flashy. I can't tell but it looks like they are like a leatherman knife where they are folded and have to be unfolded to open them up. Does anyone know the name of these scissors and where to get them at??

No idea what you're talking about, but if you want great shears that cut on the first try then you need to check out http://www.BaronianTrading.com

Do a goggle search for folding scissors?

I have never seen anyone use scissors like you describe. I found a fine pair of scissors that came in a handy plastic case at JOANN fabrics.

Interesting and bizarre. I'm with you Al, have never seen or heard of such a scissors. Kotah |

Pretty sure he's seen a butterfly knife being used to cut the rope and mistaken them for a pair of fancy scissors.
It can make for a flashy bit in a rope routine but it's worth baring in mind that if you travel anywhere that has you going through xray security it's going to cause you problems.

I had the tips of my scissors ground down because I hand them to the person helping me, and the sight of blood always spoils the show.
