Hi, I don't know much about rope effects, but I want to put together a routine where as I'm telling a story a guy ties my hands and later I get out. I also need to make more than one knot appear and disappear from a piece of rope. Can you guys point me to a source for this? Thanks.

Knotty Knot by Aldo Columbini will help with one handed knots that seem to appear from nowhere with very little practice.

Abbott's Encyclopedia of Rope tricks is available in Paperback from Dover for under $10. Your local bookstore or Amazon.com can get it for you if you can't find it in magic shops.
