I'm sorry but I can't imagine a 13 years old mentalist in front a group of 200 grownups, not to say a Hypnotist. I would really like to see you in action in front of big audience. It's not an "I dare you" thing. I really do like to see it. |

your age. I don't really know what to say about that. It's a pity that many a mentalist judges people from age first. You are right, of course, that I can not have as much experiences in years as someone who has performed for 40 years or so, but that doesn't mean that I can't be a great performer or that I wasn't able to write a book containing good stuff - but I'm sure you know that yourself. About my routines not having undergone several decades of changing - well, I wrote about that in my previous post. Quote:
I would really like to see you in action in front of big audience. My last two performances have been videod, although they were very short and each of them part of a bigger programme. Therefor they don't contain anything from my book. The audience was made up of everything from children to youths to adults to seniors, so I opted for a mix of magic and mentalmagic. One of them was for 500 people, the other one for about 200 or 300, so you can still see me performing in action in front of a bigger audience. I will try to get them as soon as possible - would you like me to PM you once they're online? Once I'm back in Germany I'll be able to put on Hypnosis Shows again ( not allowed to here, see introduction ), I'll video those too. When I find myself doing performances in town next time I'll try to think of videoing those, too - it won't be on stage, but it's still in action with some psychological stuff. Apart from that, if you want to come to one of my shows - I'd be happy to give you a free ticket of course. Quote:
It's not an "I dare you" thing. I really do like to see it. Thanks, from that I take that you don't mean it in a bad way. Nefesch, thanks for making clear the style-issue ( I agree that this might be part of the problem ! ) and for the compliments! Best, Timon.

Great. PM me if you can. And again I apologize for being so skeptical. I hope you understand how extraordinary it all sounds to me. This board is made of 90% armchair mentalists (As my friend Lior Manor once defined and was flamed for) and it's all right, it really is. What's not all right is that so many of them (and I'm afraid to guess the number) claim to be professional working mentalists. They flood the market with every idea they come up with, and they cause many of us (At least all my mentalist friends) not to trust a single word of review here.

I agree with Nimrod
but on the other side I admire young people that can write books. So even if your stuff is not the best, I am happy with your selfconfidrnce. I am sure your are not an armchairmentalist , maybe a kidschair mentalsit (In Hebrewe it sounds funnier) good luck

Congratulations with your birthday, much more congratulations with the publication of your book.
How cool to have published a book on such a young age.

Hey guys,
Just wanted to revive this post to say a few words about Timon's book Cut The Strings as I recently reconnected with him via facebook and we had a great brief discussion. As of right not I am into the Angel System which is about two thirds the way through the book and wow, this one piece alone has my fascination, not to mention the other great pieces I have read so far! Timon and I have a very similar thinking style when it comes to our love of hypnosis, suggestion and mind reading, it is really inspiring to see someone even younger than me (I am but a 20 year old) producing some really incredible impromptu intimate pieces surrounding the mind. I will be posting more as I make my way to the end and I already know I will be re-reading it again, fantastic so far! -Jakob |

I didn't realize that H&R had cut the strings with Timonk. It looks like you'll have to buy it on the secondary market. Do you know if he ever posted the videos that he said would be up in a couple of weeks? If so, do you know where to find them? It all sounded so promising, but it looks like it didn't fly.
