I'm bringing you some BIG NEWS guys.
You asked for it. You got it. Paul Carnazzo has released a new ebook. Altriotto contains 9 excellent effects for $25 to Café members. Here's the link folks http://www.mentalvoyage.com/index_files/Altriotto.htm Eye-Tunes and This Side Up are alone worth the price of admission. Here's a comprehensive list of his genius that's on offer here: This Side Up – a never fail heads/tails prediction! A prediction is presented, and then a participant flips a coin 5 times (more or less if you wish). The participant is given the chance to change any of the results until they are happy…of course, the prediction is 100% correct – including whether or not the participant would change any of the results! Positively No Force – a no force, never fail version of Positive/Negative using five (real or imaginary) coins (contributed to an upcoming project by a well known mentalist –TBA later) Uncrushed – a borrowed water bottle is crushed. Using mind power only the bottle uncrushes itself! The bottle is borrowed and never touched by the performer! (This effect was contributed to Mindblasters USA by Peter Duffie) The Wannabe Serial Killer – a tale of an unlucky serial killer unfolds, and his bad luck is put to the test! (two versions are included) Instant Psychic – two participants select cards from a shuffled deck. The deck is shuffled again and handed to a third participant. Miraculously, he is able to find the two selected cards! The Bucket List – the topic of “Bucket Lists” is brought up, and a participant thinks of an item on their “Bucket List”, and is asked to imagine they are experiencing the event in their mind. The perform takes this journey with them and correct describes details what the participant is visualizing, and correctly names the thought of item! (This effect was contributed to Ran Pink’s “T-Rex”) iShiner – a great utility item using an iPhone (contributed to J. Prager’s “Swipeit”) Eye-Tunes – a participant is asked to think of the last song they listened to on their iPhone or iPod Touch. The mentalists starts to “receive” some sound bites, and correctly names the actual song! Bonus Effect: Cursory TK – a willing participant is able to move the cursor on virtually any computer screen using only their mind! Enjoy! Jamie

Instant buy for me. I don't buy a lot of material these days but Paul only releases good workable stuff that's been field tested.
I may do a review at a later stage Best, Sean |

I have always enjoyed Paul's work and this seems like another great release. Ishinner sounds interesting as I have been using my iPhone in this context for a few years now.

This is typically great material from Paul. "This Side Up" and "Positively No Force" are my favorites, because they're the ones that most make me smack my forehead and wonder why I didn't think of them myself. They're both every bit as clean and inexplicable as the description makes you hope they'll be. "Wannabe Serial Killer" is also a highlight, with an interesting new twist on a useful ploy. I probably won't use it as-is, but I'll definitely be exploring the idea behind it. A very worthwhile collection.
Every problem contains the seeds of its own solution. Unfortunately every problem also contains the seeds of an infinite number of non-solutions, so that first part really isn't super helpful.

This is a no brainer. Paul never ceases to impress. I only get slightly annoyed when he puts out his wonderful secrets,as I am no longer the only other person who gets to perform them! Bucket List is excellent and I'm with Joshua-smacking my forehead all the time when I'm learning Paul's stuff. Paul Carnazzo junkies might be familiar with some of the effects as a few of them were contributed to other books in the field, but its great to see these ideas together in one place.

Maybe Paul can weigh in here for a little extra insight on the routines etc? Looks interesting but would like to hear from the creator first before purchasing
Thanks |

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the interest and the kind words! Altriotto contains 9 effects total that are intended for close up performances, with some thought some can be transformed to platform or stage. Some of the effects require a little bit of advance preparation, but once prepared will last for hundreds of performances. From the feedback I'm receiving via email, "This Side Up" and "Positively No Force" are highlights (and require minor prep.), "The Bucket List" is impromptu and has also received high marks. Thanks again for the interest! If there are any questions please post them here I will try to reply ASAP Best regards, PC |

I quite liked this! Bucket list is great and you will be suppried how much you can reveal without actually knowing what they are thinking! ( unless you usually do that kind of stuff) I also liked eye-tunes and this side up. Great stuff Paul!

OK, so I’ve actually tried some of the material from Paul’s new offering (during breaks at FISM no less!). Two words...
IT KILLS! My favourite effects... Eye-tunes – if anyone already performs magic with an iphone (borrowed) then adding this will take it to the next level. I added the Eye-tunes idea onto ilogo (which I already perform) and now I have an impromptu two phase routine that absolutely floors the audience. Visual magic combined with mental magic. A one-two punch. The Bucket List –I have never really performed the centre tear but this gave me a reason to give it a proper go. Paul‘s clever approach means you can begin to reveal the information before even doing the tear. With a bit of thinking the same principle can be applied to peek wallets which require you to open the wallet again. Instant Psychic – a devilishly simple method but fooled the boys in the bar at FISM. A spectator finds two card selections made by other spectators. Sneaky and powerful magic. The Wannabee Serial Killer – A new approach to the ‘Free Will’ principle. One to make up and keep in your wallet. Can also be adapted to anything you want to predict. Cursory Telekinesis – A great trick for office workers. Requires a little bit of solo set-up and creates a really creepy effect. Tried it out and freaked my colleagues. iShiner - in the right setting this is brilliant. Again I fooled the boys in the bar at FISM by having this one set up at the table. I knew what card had been chosen as it was returned to the deck. The boys were looking at the backs of the cards thinking it must be a marked deck! I will try Paul’s other ideas out when I have recovered from a week of non-stop magic at FISM. In summary, each trick is a mini work of genius. TWSK is an effect that could have been marketed as a single trick at the same cost of the entire ebook. Highly recommended. Well done Paul. Keep 'em coming.
