Just recently received my order from Roy Kueppers. I am 100% impressed with his craftsmanship & overall service. His product is without doubt (from my experience), the finest custom Canadian coins I have ever had the pleasure of owning & performing with. Somehow, he even manages to go easy on your wallet. For any Magicians seeking Canadian coin work, you cannot go wrong with Roy imo. As for USA coins, I am unable to comment 1st hand, but I see no reason that his product would differ from my encounter with this fine gentleman. Kudos of the highest order.

I was always happy with the quality of Johnson Coins made with walking liberty halves. very durable and fine quality plus relativly inexpensive. recently I have bought the Triception set from Mark Mason, Spectacular from Johnny Wong and Magical Morgans from Joe Mogar. all excellent gaffs. I traded for a copper silver set 64 Kennedy and an Elizabeth II 1960 South African coin was told it was a Lassen and a set of African Dimes with a slippery sam also told it was a Lassen. Both Great quality but I see no distinctive mark saying they are Lassen coins - doesn't he stamp some kind of trademark or initials on his stuff? Reguardless, I am happy with them all and am enjoying the transition from mostly cards, spongeballs, TT, Invis**** T*****, to being more serious with coins. I wold say with 15+ years of magic behind me its time to learn the coin stuff. and MB217 and Todd Bowers have been very helpfull on a personal level through PMs

Lassen stamps his new things, but not his older coins, so you could have an older set of his.

Would echo Inert's thoughts on Roy's work. I own the majority of his Canadian coin work and have been very pleased. His somewhat rare "Finger thru Twoonie" is a thing of beauty and his loonie/twoonie is always in my pocket.
Cheers, John |
