This is the effect: a rope is cut, the ends are tied together and the knot's ends are trimmed. The knot can slide up and down the rope (the knot is really on the rope) and finally the knot is plucked from the rope and can be tossed to the audience.
I know the handling of this trick and I have my own handling of it. My question is: whom do I have to credit? I don't know the real name of the trick or the originator of it, but I'm sure its origin is German. Anyone who can point me to the right direction? Thank you in advance. Peter |
