Looking for recommendations for magic shops in the Indianapolis, IN area. Not looking for anything specific, just in the area and want to see what's around.

In case anyone else is looking, here's what I've found:
There are no magic shops in or around Indianapolis. There used to be a store, Costume Cage, on Crawfordsville Rd, that had some magic stuff. You may still find this store listed on various websites, but trust me, it's a pawn shop now. There is another costume shop, Costumes by Margie, that comes up in some searches for magic stores. They have a change bag and a plastic wand in their display case, but other than that it's a typical small-town costume & clown shop, with (to my eyes) high prices. Their Proknows price is $17. Their selection is OK but no magic. |

If you had been around with me in the late forties and early fifties, we could have visited Abbott's magic shop on the Circle. The person that might know about magic shops in and around Indiana is, Bill Hegbli. I'm from Greene County, nothing but farms down there, and a few hillbillies like myself.
(That's a Pronose in my picture that makes me pretty)

I could've sworn there was a magic shop
on the east side of Indy just a few years ago. Was just searching again because I have a show in a week and can't find my flash paper. |
