An assistant is not necessary. I vanish the ring and it appears in a nest of Babooshka dolls. My asst. loads the dolls.

Use a tt and you won't need an assistant...
(I LOVE those Russian Dolls. I remember someone was selling a David Copperfield image painted on nested dolls a few years ago.) Sorry for going off topic. Julie |

I humbly believe that it is a montage in fact it could make the effect but not as fast and clean as seen in the video. I repeat my humble opinion.

Since we have already gone off topic and the fact that the OP hasn't been on this thread in almost 3 years...
Regarding the ring in Babushka dolls - It should be possible to build a holder for the dolls similar to the Tenyo Coin in Nest, allowing the magician to do it solo. Julie, if you love the Russian Babushka Dolls, you'll probably like a project I am working on that should be finished this Spring.

In the 1st video for the Heart of Gold, Mikame does a false transfer with the coin, then sets the coin on the tabletop behind the stand. He then never goes near the tabletop at any point. He is performing the trick on his MC Table Pro. This may be a clue to the 2nd presentation. Not having the Heart or the table, but just asking, could that little piece of wood be to hold the trap door open.
I find it interesting that no one has tried to have the Japanese instructions translated to see if their were any hints to the working of the props. I believe the 1st coin was just a staged duplicate coin, unless that locket has the power to transport matter inside it, and if it does, then that spectator saw everything happening behind the stand. At least it will look nice displayed on a shelf. Put your wife's picture in the locket and you will be able to display it anywhere in the house. |

Dear collegues, collecting MIKAMES wonderful props I still had been missing HEART OF GOLD. From a magician from Finnland I could get (a slightly used) version, but unfortunately he does not have the English instruction. Can anybody help me, please?
Pardon my poor English, please. Kind regards Peter |

While the effect posted has to be staged it could be easily accomplished by using Sankeys wipe off principle. That seems to be the easiest and only way to accomplish it.
Sorry for bringing up an old thread but maybe the information might help someone who is interested. |

The little piece of wood is a wedge that holds the frame stand / support open.
