Just received my Shutterbug set from Roth. I haven't even had time for more than a brief scan of the instructions and routine ideas, but I wanted to pass along a couple of OMG impressions:
VISUAL: As a Dark Dawn Tarot and Carnie Flemish owner I shouldn't be surprised at the quality of the aging of the items in this set, but, OK, I'm astounded. I have a background in photography as well as lots of early 20th Century family photos, and the Shutterbug photos to me look authentic way beyond my expectations. Same with the other items. A lot of work went into this. SMELL: I'm not typically affected much by olfactory memory, but as soon as I opened the package there was a nagging sensation in the back of my head. Thankfully alone so my wife didn't see, I held the photos close and took a whiff, and, bang! - suddenly I was back in my grandfather's garage in rural Maine. It hit me hard. Time for me to get to work...
...in the Land of the Free, and the Home of the B'Wave.
