Does anyone remember a PBS special a few years back where a juggler performed with high bounce balls using a wall and then a triangular shaped enclosure. It was very interesting and I would love to get a copy (legally of course) of this. I think the show also had some mime work???

Hi Rob,
I saw a juggler on Penn and Teller's "Sin City" show who bounced balls in a triangle. The same juggler I would imagine. Sometimes you can catch the reruns on the FX cable channel.
Thank you,

I actually found the answer in another topic. It was "Michael Moschen: In Motion"
Is "Sin City" available on VHS or DVD? We are a bit channel challenged over here in Germany. Thanks for the input; I'll try and check it out if I can.

I saw this too. Very interesting, had some contact juggling in it too.

In the juggling world Michael Moschen is a big star - mostly for creativity, and getting away from the cliches. He almost invented contact juggling with acrylic (crystal-like) balls. Those are his hands doubling for David Bowie in Jim Henson's 'Labyrinth'.
His stage show (by repute) is full of novel and ingenious ideas, drawing on other arts like sculpture, mime, dance, etc. - several of which can be seen in the above-mentioned tv program. He has a website - put his name in Google. |

Micheal Moschen started in the streets with Penn & Teller, in NYC. The balls are sylcone and bounce better than super bounce balls
I have seen him live, and he can really mess with your head, I love the triangle bit as it is way cool, but I have too much stuff to carry as it is. (I want one) I think he did it to show the juggling world he still can juggle. (many jugglers don't consider contact juggling to be juggling) and he spends a lot of time being artsy. If you get the chance, see him live! worth the trip.

I have a video of him that a friend gave me about 6 or more years ago. It appears to have been recorded from a TV program, but all I can say is that it truly seemed to defy the laws of nature.
It is awesome entertainment. BroDavid

I really liked the thing he did with the giant bowl at the IJA a few years ago - basically just began to manipulate balls in totally new ways, by rolling them in a bowl.
