This thread page must be in the top 10 of the most convoluted on the Café!
How many magicians does it take to change a lightbulb? Regardless, for magicians darkness is a time for d'lite.

"I set my deck up using a ...d ....h. It works really well."

You know! Aces... Diamonds... Hearts... wait that doesn't make sense.

"Can anyone who owns this comment on how this compares with a p*****d deck?"

Powdered?
Pwned?
Popped?
Pooped?

Actually I do know what words that is and... let's just say.... it "COMPARES."

Hey guys,

I own VIBE and love the versatility with the method. I have a sealed bicycle deck opened and shuffled by the spectators until they are content. Then I have them hold an opaque black hanky spread out 6 inches over the table. I wear a blind fold and separate the cards red and black. It's the final phase of an Out Of This World routine that I do. I have also used this to do a 4 ace production, although I didn't really like it because it tended to take more time. The nice thing about this concept is you can customize it to you, meaning you can gimmick the deck in different ways. I have people shuffle and handle the cards and have done this many times with no problems. Let me know if you have any other questions, I highly recommend this.

Thanks. I took the plunge and ordered this, I'm not dissapointed as I can use this method for other effects. Takes the guess work out nicely!

Hi there, does this require just one deck, or multiple decks to create the gimmick?

Alex you can use one deck.A second deck is not necessary. You could ,with a variation, set up the deck to let you know the suit of each card.with another variation
you can set up a deck know if a card is red or black.
Finally you could find the spectators card with the original method.
You could not use the suit or color method to find their card. You could use the suit method to find the colors but the result would be slower,I would make up 3 decks one for each result but any method is useful for a single desired effect.Again you are not required to make up more than one deck for each effect. And only the find a card is taught as far as I remember. The variations should be easy to figure out.Glenn

Even stranger is that it is just the opposite for me. Back then I had no idea what you meant but when I saw it right now I instantly knew.
Maybe I’ve actually learned a lil' sumpin' in the last 3 years. Smile
