Just got this from Stevens Magic after seeing it in their catalogue ( apparently they sold this under a different name in the 80's and have now re-released it).
stevensmagic.com/shop/spinning-stacked-half-dollars-sme/ Anyway, I like it a lot. Kind of like Frye's Chips, which I also liked, but I think I like this more for the following reasons: 1) It's with coins! I didn't have too much reason to carry around a poker chip, with Frye's Chips, and spin it on a finger. Since I do have coins on me at all times and enjoy coin work, this starts as a "could-be-possible" demonstration of skill with the balance, followed up by the spin as a surprise kicker. From there, maybe make them disappear or lead into some other routine. 2) It's all self contained. Just the two coins is all you need... and the craftsmanship of said coins is actually pretty nice….simple, yet clever. Anyway, check it out and see what you think. |

Can the coins be "cleaned up" to allow the spectator to examine or would a switch be required to allow examination?
