As a great bonus, I think I just worked out the origin of a couple of tricks I do from Gerry Griffins Complete Card Magic! Been looking for those ...

Not strictly a book on packet tricks but closely related to the topic: Jon Racherbaumer's "Counthesaurus", a 200 plus pages handbook of false counts and false displays. Dozens and dozens of them.

I agree about Focus, lots of good magic in there.

Also, not strictly on packet tricks, but John Bannon's High Caliber is a great read. The book starts off with one of the best packet tricks there is, the Royal Scam.

Agree. Also, check out Nick Trost's Subtle Card Creations. There are many peculiar packet tricks there.
