Does anyone know the name or type of a white pen that can be used to mark a deck of cards?

Thanks,
Mike

White out or simply scratch a bit away with an x-acto knife. They also sell rub off values and suits for marking cards by the sheet.

Hi Poof-Daddy I really want to know the name of a pen that marks the cards white.

Sponge if you know and don't want to share, that's fine.

If anyone knows and wants to share it would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Bill,

Did you mark cards with it and does it do the job?
What is the name of the pen?

Thanks,
Mike

It's called Recollections Opaque Marker, Snow color. Doesn't write particularly well on the back of the card - makes like a smudge which can cancel out red areas, but not very precisely.
There is another marker by POSCA - I haven't tried it out yet, but it comes with an "ultra fine" tip (0.7mm). These are listed on ebay. Try a search for "posca white"

Chris Capehart mentioned during his lecture at Reel MAgic that he sold a pen with white ink that is specifically designed for marking cards. You might want to check with him about its availability.

Luke Jermay also refers to the same white Recollections Opaque Marker in V.3 of his DVD set, but I haven't tested this marker as it does not appear to be available in the UK.

Sharpie has paint pens. They come in both water and oil based paint. I find the oil based one a bit more subtle, and longer lasting.

they come in extra fine tip too.

I use the Recollections Opaque pen in "Snow" color to mark dots on cards, and it works well. Basically marks in place of pencil dots, etc. It only comes in Medium and Broad points that I've seen, so I just use the Med to place a small dot. For actual writing, something with a Fine or Ultra Fine tip would be better.

I am trying to find mine right now... But I think it was just simply made by paper mate and it was a fine point white out pen. In the DVD sleeping queens.. They mention a pen to use.. To white out the eyes.

I can't find the "tricks and accessories section".
I feel more like I do now than I did before.
