I opened this thread just to say that Harry's effect above is my favorite before I knew that he had already posted. I first came across it when I read "Quantum Leaps", and have been doing it ever since.

Of course, HL's one-card linking card is superb.
Another one I like, this one with two cards, is Osmosis by Silvain Mirouf
So much to do, so little time . . .

I saw a routine where the cards really linked with a gimmick. It was less impressive than HL's simple one-card linking cards. In this case, the simplest, the best. Lynn

I'm a fan of all of the above, and Conjunction as well.

Impromptu it is hard to beat Harrys.
If you don´t mind a Little preparation, one card link by Sixten Beme is really Visual. And of course Paul Harris two versions. Mikael Johansson Sweden

I going to say Paul Harris but that is the only one I've ever seen. Just Watched Harry Loraynes. Really cool.

I like Sexten Beme's one card link, IF you like preparing cards. The link is the only one that I've found that you can have the audience member inspect the card while it's linked. I also figured out a handling where you can have the audience shuffle the deck (thus giving the impression that all is above board because they've touched all the cards in the shuffle. Then I do the link and then I have a handling where the link is separated and then you give out all the pieces of the original card that they can take home.

I heard from a friend that anecdotal evidence is actually quite reliable. |

I love HL's because of his story and the Japanese art of "tearagami".....the energy and subtle humor he is able to instill as he performs the effect and the constant close-up observation by the spectators makes the impossible really possible.
