I'm very tempted especially if RNK gives it a thumbs up. I trust his reviews.
Good magic to all, Eric |

It's been a while since anyone has posted on Telefunkick. As some of you know, I'm a BIG fan of Docc's stuff. I can assure all of you that he didn't ask me to write this. I am doing this of my own accord, so here are my thoughts about it.
Let me just say that this routine is one of the BEST I have ever seen in all my years as a mentalist. I immediately fell in love with it as soon as I saw the trailer. I watched the video and was blown away by how simple and deceptive this is. He teaches you how to make the gimmick and how to perform with it. There's more to the routine than many of you have seen on the demo video. Two weeks ago, I was asked to perform at a high-end gig as a trial to see if my show would attract a crowd to the place. Telefunkick was one of the effects I performed there and after the show, the owner came up to me asked me about the "card miracle" I performed during the show. Note, he didn't call it a trick. He admitted that he is a type of person who is very observant and has called out magicians in the past when they did the "secret" something. He said that he watched me very close when I performed it and could not see anything at all. What blew him away was when I showed all 51 cards to be normal and sealed in the envelope. For a layperson to say something like that, that's all the validation I need. I was also able to hear some gasps coming from the audience. Guess what? I'm back for another show at the same venue tomorrow. I think I'm in. To make this work, you also need a winning personality, because tricks themselves don't get you booked. The point is, this is one of those routines I wish Docc would have kept to himself and to a few others like me, to keep it out of the hands of amateurs. In response to those people about price...if Docc would have charged $200, I still would have been extremely happy with this purchase. The problem is that many on this site are now used to the cheap, $10 single-trick Penguin instant downloads, where the trick either sucks, has been ripped off by someone else, or is the result of many rehashings. Docc is right to charge for what he charges for his work on his site and I continue to look forward to all his future releases. |

Does anybody could make a comparison between telefunkick and the Cassidy's version (Bob Cassidy's guide to the jinx issue 1) ?
You can find a video of the original effect here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=is-hep4zGxk |
