It is a splendid opener for an ESP routine--brief, memorable, gets a spectator involved, can be used to introduce ESP symbols, Rhine, and all of that.

Can other picture cards be substituted, for example. I want to use this in a trade show with the cards showing pix of the clients products.
thanks Dave |

Yes. It's a principle you can apply to anything.

The props you receive when you buy it are focused on the five traditional Zener symbols plus a triangle symbol. To use other symbols, you'd have to make the supportive props that relate to your chosen symbols.

Nice to hear magicians from the USA have followed the works and contributions of the late Paul Daniels.
His famous "Electric Chair" routine was reknowned. Long before the gadgets used today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgRCOLwIJAQ |

Followers of this discussion will want to know that Alakazam has now produced "Symbol Pro," which features a larger version of the symbols that enables the effect to play for larger parlor-sized audiences. The best news is that, in the four years since Symbol's initial release, Peter Nardi has developed ways to make the second and third possible outcomes virtually as good as the first.

Oh man, this is something I really like. I can use this as a simple and direct mentalism routine. Going to order it!

Hocus Pocus magic has this on sale for $19.95 I believe. I ordered it today and will looking forward to receiving it. I did get the "Symbol Pro"version and I hope he's updated the information on how to make the other reveals easy as well. I'll review it after I have a chance to work with it a little and see if I can't come up with some ideas to to share.
Good magic to all, Eric |

I also ordered the Symbol Pro version from Hocus Pocus during their recent sale. I've performed the effect 3 times so far (three different days). The first time my spectator chose #1. The second time my spectator chose #4. And the third time my spectator chose #2. That quickly gave me the opportunity to use all the reveals and it worked beautifully. The impact on my spectators was the same, regardless of number chosen. And nobody questioned the selection presentation/process. This has proved to be a real fooler (so far) with excellent reactions.
I also own Killer Elite Pro and I much prefer Symbol Pro. I like the visibility of the larger cards in the Pro version AND the fact that the numbers are more prominent. But one negative of the larger cards is a way to safely carry them. If I owned the standard size I would use a packet trick wallet. I've been unable to find that type of wallet that will hold the larger Pro cards and prediction envelope. In the meantime, I searched Amazon and found this to use as a storage pouch: https://amzn.to/38y6pv8 It arrived this morning and the envelope and cards fit in there nicely. I'd prefer something hard-sided so I'll keep looking for a wallet of some sort. Mark
Doing tricks can be easy, being an entertainer is much harder.
