For those that feel we "Need" to enlighten, and put on a proper path vs entertain through spooky means, I say possibly you should take up knitting.
We are the portable horror film, dark ride and stoker novel, I perform and feel no need to instruct during a performance( I sometimes inform, but the assimilation of that info is up to the audience) , if this art frightens you then maybe it's not for you. As far as the baggage , I have servants to take care of that.

My brother lived about a mile from the Warren's home in Connecticut.
Around the 1980's I attended a lecture presentation with Ed & Lorraine at a local college around Halloween. They told stories of their ghost hunting adventures, showed pictures in a slide show and had audio recordings of hauntings and exorcisms etc. I remember thinking what a bunch of nonsense and thought of them as snake oil salesmen. Now their estate (Lorraine is still with us I think) is making a ton off these Annabelle movies. In real life Annabelle is a Raggedy Ann doll unlike the one used in the movies. |

I may be wrong, but I thought I saw the raggedy Ann doll that Annabelle movies were based on at Zak Baggans Haunted Museum in Vegas last week? Had a spirit box in the room. When I walked in I clearly heard “get out” through the white noise. We also had to greet the doll and say goodbye, lest evil things follow us home.
