I am looking for a gaff card(about ten, actually) similar to the attached.
- Want the same value, front and back. In other words, one that looks like a single card with each half facing the opposite direction. - I'd prefer a black court card with the standard red bike back- better contrast. I sent a few emails to: http://www.cards4magic.co.uk/ Haven't heard back. Can anyone recommend a reliable resource? Thanks. Click here to view attached image. |

If you are stateside you might consider Marty Grams @ Martini's Magic. According to his website $2.00 a card.
Just a thought!

Thanks Stanyon. If I'm not mistaken, Marty makes split cards, correct? I'm looking for a printed gaff, but will definitely take a look.

I've printed my own cards for a number of years since I got "Versatile Monte and Beyond". It gives all the techniques you need to do this with your computer and printer.
Let me play with this. I'll get back to you. Ted

Hello CardMaker.
Nothing wrong with split cards, but for this particular situation I think I'd be better off with printed gaffs. Basically, I'm looking for an ending to a cardwarp-esque routine where I can hand out the 'warped' card at the end, no tears. The handout card will have creases(folded into quarters), and I thought that the cuts(splits), when folded, would stand out too much. That said, I ordered a few from Marty, and am looking forward to seeing if they are usable for this. But please, if anyone can recommend a quality gaff printer, I'm still interested. Now... if only somebody could help me find a Chinatown Half gimmick(different routine), silver dollar sized, for less than $400... but that's a post for another forum! |

Card Shark has made individual printed gaffs in the past, though I saw last week they say they have suspended doing that temporarily. You might keep an eye out there.
There is a site called cardgaffs.com that does custom printed cards. I don't have first-hand experience with them. |
