I recently discovered that you can ask Alexa (the voice service behind the Amazon Echo devices) to pick a card, and to pick a number. The invocations are
- "Alexa, pick a card" - "Alexa, pick a number between 1 and 52" If you have an echo device, it's a great way to practice your favorite ACAAN! |

Thanks for the tip! I've also been using Siri to do this on my Apple Watch. Good way to practice without annoying your spouse.

Any shuffled deck provides this function with only medieval-level technology...
Name any card: Turn over a card. Name a number from 1 to 52: Turn over a card and use its stack number. (Don't get me started on people using cell phones and satellite technology instead of ringing the doorbell or even just knocking...) |
