Hello. Do anybody know what magnets are generally used in some tricks that are slim enough to be hidden under a sticker in the card box or between a splitted card, but strong enough to grant that when sliding close are relatively firmly sticked together?
I know they must be neo magnets, but what size? |

By the way, the thinnest I've found are these: https://www.shinlimmagic.com/shop/shim-magnets
Has anybody tested and seen if they are strong enough? |

Shin Lim has tested them and uses them all the time. I also use them on regular size playing cards, but prefer a stronger 1/32 inch thick magnet for jumbo cards.

Another source to consider is SuperMagnetMan. Shin Lim's magnets are 0.27mm thick, the ones below are:
0.25mm thick: https://supermagnetman.com/products/d106......10275587 0.30mm thick: https://supermagnetman.com/products/d103......10261187 John |

I picked up a bunch of magnets from K&J (ref: Poof-Daddy), based on the recommendation of Dan Harlan in one of the Tarbell Rope lessons.
(I don't remember if Dan specifically mentioned K&J, but they had the exact sizes he suggested) Dave |

If they are the right size and strength for you to use, the best buy is from the Supermagnetman: https://supermagnetman.com/products/d106......10275587
Twenty of these cost me under $21.00 including shipping. Twenty D1066 @ $0.78 each, cost : $15.60 USD, plus shipping : $4.61 USD for a Total of : $20.21 USD

Amazing that they can make them with those dimensions, must be super fragile

They are fragile if you let them slam into one another, magnet to magnet, but cushioned inside a card where the action is mostly letting them slide into position rather than snap, so far I haven't had one break on me (knock on rare earth for luck!).
