Teaching a lesson on prayer, just need one more magic idea to complete the 1 1/2 hours. Any suggestions l can't think of one more.

I did a quick effect one time where I produced my cell phone and used it as an illustration of calling on God. It got a good response from the kids, but as it was like 12 years ago, and I never performed it again, I don;t remember exactly how I produced it. I know I didn't use any production apparatus; might have had it in my sport coat sleeve. I'm sure you can come up with something if the basic idea is of interest.

Thanks Terry but we are using the old tin can and string ideas for a phone. Russo don't think the witnessing one will work. I have to fill 1 1/2 hours when I teach. Already have puppets, 2 magic tricks, a video and some object lessons and games. Just looking for one trick to fill in. Thanks to both of you.

I use Duane Laflin's routine with a Silk Cabby.

Open both doors and tell the audience this prayer closet is empty. Explain to the audience that many Christians have empty prayer closets. They’re empty because many Christians don’t go in them and pray.

Pick up a silk and tell the audience this handkerchief represents a praying Christian and insert it into the hole of the silk cabby. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if more Christians went into their prayer closet to pray!

Then pull out a string of flags as you tell the audience you can pray for other countries all over the world here in your very own prayer closet.

If you own a silk cabby I'm sure you get the drift.
