Though decades ago I wore the top hat, I have switched to other types.
From ball caps to Hasidic traditional wear I find they can quickly change tge mood and character I want to portray. The latest addition is an amish traveling hat. The photo I purchased it from on the Walmart site did not indicate how big the brim or triune top. A side benefit you found out at tge first gig I used it at is the top can be used as a percussion device. Sound has always been important to this "Reader and Righter" Not magic trick but much magic in connecting. Harris Still too old to know it all

My latest hats are both Pork Pies.
Been thinking of adapting a Benson Bowl routine. I know they’ve been used with Fez hats. Thoughts?

I perform a Benson Bowl routine using a Fedora Hat, which I wear in all of my shows, both kid and adult. Because the hat is deeper than a bowl, that means you can include a larger final load than a bagel. I developed my original routine for street performances and finished with the production of a double load--a coconut followed by a bottle of root beer.
