Yep, Harry Anderson's Gang of Four. That card is your prediction, four people select cards and you have them all name their card simultaneously (as if you're expecting them to all have chosen the same card), they all call out 5H, 4S, AH and 8C. Despondently you tear your prediction into four pieces and throw it down, upon examination it matches each person's card. Something like that anyway.

I am also interested if this effect is taught in any Harry Anderson release, other than the actual effect booklet.

You can find it in Harry Anderson's: Wise Guy. No gaff, but you'll find the routine in there along with plenty more.

Anybody think of additional presentation ideas for this? Somehow I think it has a lot of potential this gaff.

I like it.. Although ripping it sounds like a good trick I might be tempted to do something that doesn't require destroying the card though. How about putting a menu or leaflet or something over the card standing on its edge in a cross shape - so each spectator can only see one edge of the card or something like that?

On second thoughts though the ripping the card up does sound like it would give a better visual effect.
