Lovers, Dreamers, and me.
(kermit the frog),

For years,
I've played with idea of putting up
films and fotos,
of Shows and Streets...
And Stories,
we cross paths with,
throughout our travels.

I've read and enjoyed others' attempts,..
successfull and successless,.
I've enjoyed them all.

Looking back,
the ones I read,
either ran out out words,
..or stories, experiences,..
visions, or dreams.

They ran dry.

This has always scared me(!).

As I get older,
I'm facing my fears more directly.
"What have you wanted to DO, but haven't?"

I'd like to give a Blog, a shot.

[i must admitt, I do not LIKE the word 'blog'.
It reminds me of how my uncle 'spoke',
after drinking too much.
"bloooooggg!"]

My question:
can anyone share some advice,
to help me get started?

Weebly vs. Wix?
,..wordpress?

Any strategies?
,..game plans?

Any bits of Wisdom?

Any cautions?

Can anyone point me in the direction of 'their' favourite reading hole?

What do you guys like to read,..see?

thanks,
I'm open for and appreciate any,...
ANYTHING(!).

Hi,
my favorite platform is Blogger from google, it free and gives great info about who came to look and read. I have a blog that now I post on occasionally but not in a while.(not a day goes by that I don't say to myself-boy I really should get back to that) The key to a good blog is frequent posting with good content. That's how you get more readers and followers and engage people in conversation. Photos always help and other than that it just takes time to develop a writing style and focus as people will come back to read your next post based on what they think of your previous ones.
Like I said I haven't posted in some time but please read my blog and see what I WAS doing with it.

I look forward to reading your stuff......

Yeah Nala,
I'm not really sö clear about 'what' a blog is, myself(!).
But you know,
winter's around the corner,..
and I understand,
Lumber-jacks use them,
to heat their blog-cabins.
sö,..
(you asked.,..!)

TWO Doctors, in ONE Post(!).
This has to be a record!

Doctor Molar,
that man's a Dentist.

Thanks for your advise Doc,
I'm heading to your blog, in a minute.

Doc Yoder,..thanks for your encouragement(!).

Two thoughts tippy-toed thru my mind (-lessness), lately.
1.) The time involved,..
organizng the thoughts.

2.) Tickling the thoughts.
I find 'extreme' inspiration,
within a group!

Ideas that come my way,
often,....
NEVER would have danced their way across my Ballroom,
if someone else(!),
hadn't have struck up the band.

I fear, sitting in front of a 'blank',..
with only 'myself',..
'my' thoughts.
,'my' stories.
,'my' visions.
,..uhhh.

. . . . . . . . . *. . . . . . .. .

On the other hand,
one reason for the blog,
was to reach a wider audience.
As open and loving,
as we are,
with each other...
'other' in-putt might be cool(!).

I'm up in the air,..
but,
winter's coming(!).
Some Streets need playing.
The answer will come.

p.s.: Talking about 'blogs' and Lumber-jacks, reminded me of...

Pete goes down to the aeroport, walks into the biggest airliner,
and fills out a job application form.
Completed, he hands it to the personal manager.

"Hmmm?", say the big boss. "It says here,..you're a Lumber-jack!"
"That's right.", says Pete. "36 years of experience."
"Golly,", replys the boss, "We're an airliner. We don't really need any Lumber-jacks."

"Hmm?", chews Pete. "My brother's worked here, for 23 years!"
"Oh! What's your brother's name?"
"Delbert Thornton."
"Delbert Thorton?,.. yeah. But Delbert is a Pilot!"

"I know.", grumbles Pete. "And I figure, if you've got a Pilot,
you'd need someone to chop-it!"

Tom Frank has a blog. Check it out. Suggest: Don't write your blog like you write on the Café, it's hard to read.

I like the way you write on the café gallagher, but I see Giz's point, if you write it that way the wheel on my mouse will be toast! its libel to reactivate my old friend
Mr. Carpal T.
I also enjoy your jokes! I had a very good one but forgot it a few minutes ago!

Blogging and vlogging are a whole other beast. Don't get discouraged. First just start writing, then after you have a small following, start researching and reading on the techniques used in writing and proper times to post, how much to post, what the post should look like, how-to word the title so it captures the audience.

Bloggers are successful because they're eye catching, easy to read and relevant for their target audience

Welllllll,
actually I have a good piece of it up,
...already.

After being without Internet,
for the most of the Winter,
....someone stole the 'sender mast',
in my village,
....second time in two years(!),
two days before I arrived home!

I was out-of-touch!
December thru March!!
,..it was replaced,
two days after I rolled out.

It was 'nice'.
It was 'terrible'.

I've been rolling about in the 'connected world',
the past two weeks...
playing,...warming up the Shows.
....and writing,..arranging a website;
from street corners and parking lots.

Actually,
I don't like the word "blog".
The words reminds me of what I used to do,
when I was 14
and drank too much beer.
"Blooooooooog"

I've decided to call it a "Quwiggle".
I,...received the title of 'Quwiggler'.

Sö,..,
the purpose,
of my Quwiggle,
is first:
to inform those who have seen us,..
MORE about us.

Secondly:
to inform those who WANT to see us,...
where to find us.

Thirdly:
to tell our storys,
to inspire,
entertain,
and motivate...
those who find us,
...on the net.

70% of the 'foundation' is up.
Another 'heap' should be up,
in the next two weeks.
It's 'organic',...
grows 'visually'.
....hopefully,
when it's stable,..
it will build,....stably.

ya,....tomorrow, however,
driving.

Thanks for the advise.
Thanks for the tipps.
Thanks for thinking about it(!).
It comes,
....slowly.

Hey Doc, greetings.

yeah, the Quwiggle is wiggling(!).

It took me a while to figure out the 'structure'.
But, now it is 'framed'.
I have some 'testers' up.
It's pretty much standing.

There are two more 'rooms' I'd like to add,...
then I can start 'furnishing'.
It's coming!

I plan it to be like a tree-house.
Growing and filling,..
never 'finished'.
The 'fertilizer' comes by itself,
...from me. 😊
The fresh air,
from when we play. 💨
The rain,...from the storms.
Organic.

Actually, we've been p(h)ampered with a string of (mis)fortune!
I picked a couple of 'false' townes to warm up our new stuff in....
frustrations turned into fertile fields(!),
....to the point of,
...NÖ FREE TIME!
We've been playing and failing and triumphing and stepping into the next puddle.

When the weather turned sour,..
we were blessed with a "half-hour gig" indoors,
that turned into three days(!).
When the rain stopped.
,..we rolled out-of-doors again.

Still, the 'rest' of the site is settling.
,..and it's organic(!),..
sö yeah,
it's up and open. 😊

You're welcome!

It comes,..
wiggles.

After a two week,..
three week pause,
"Playing has priority."
,....i promised my boss,
...Lady.

After a three week pause,
I'm back to it.
...if I could only remember my password...

'Writer's Block' = Lost password.

'Partners in Arms',
....before I give you the 'bottom-line',
I'd like to re-state what I'm up to here.

We'd like to write a continuing, living, breathing,...changing, growing Reportage;
about 'what we are doing. where we're "AT" and "HEADED",..
Organic.,..growing.
A real sess-pool.
Dive in ANYWHERE!

For Folks who have seen us,..
today,
yesterday,..
years ago.
To share MORE.
To feed interests.
,..and to let them know when and where we'll be.

Yeah,...this is the hope.

öK.
One more thing,
..before I come to the 'bottomline',
I've actually sent the adress to a few folks,..
fishing for critique and commentar....
(Chatterbox,...you should check your PM's every now and then. ☺️)

Now, I'd like to open up for critique from everyone.
Take a peeksy,..
wait a few weeks,..
I'm curious, myself what will happen....
let me know.

(I have some specific questions,
but I'll un-load them in two weeks.)
,...my biggest question in the moment is:
"Where do I plan to find the time?!?"
