What do you think about using a Sacajawea Dollar coin and a Quarter for a transposition, but: You play up the effect as moving the seventy five cents by magic.
Are there published references for this approach? This is about like squeezing a quarter to have two dimes fall out, then showing the coin as a Nickle.
...to all the coins I've dropped here

Reminds me of Scotty York's Nickel Saver (I think it was): put a nickel on the back of someone's hand, and say you're going to make it travel through. After you wave you wand/pen, four cents fall through the hand, and a penny is left of top.
Perhaps it's just me thinking like a magician, but I personally have a hard time viewing a transposition (two things changing places) as something underlying moving, rather just switching, but breaking things apart (quarter into nickels and dimes) feels substantially different because the item changed, rather than just swapping. That said, I'm certain there's some good ways to take it, just offering a point of consideration. |
