I just heard this from my Mum:
1) the scammers check to see how much petrol or diesel the mark pays for and make sure they fill their vehicle up with more than the mark's. 2) pay for the mark's cheaper petrol cost 3) the mark is supposed to pay for the more expensive fuel cost. Fortunately, my Mum was on the ball and noticed the scammers watching her and didn't overpay. |
