I re-read the description and do see your point. If someone is thinking of getting Instant Knockout instead of a high quality ID, I would suggest they do more research. As an owner of a couple high quality ID's, I would definitely not throw them away.

I use the method for Instant Knockout a lot actually but it isn't replacing my Psypher. IK is not designed to be the only IMP device you own but it is a great reliable way to create a working impression device with borrowed items and you can create the device during the routine. Also we give lots of bonus ideas to use this principle in other deceptive ways. I understand that the quote might be hard to believe for some but the quote shouldn't take away from the fact that it is a great product.

Well, it has the main advantage of all imp devices, which is that you never touch the paper that the participant writes on. The disadvantages are that the quality and reliability of the impression can vary depending on how hard the participant writes and the materials you use.
Even the best and most reliable imp devices are not a perfect c**y. And they can fail. This is no exception. With the methods you mention, you have to take the paper/card back, but you also get a direct l**K at the participant's writing.

I am surprised that there are no reviews on Penguin considering it's ranked #1 currently. Is no one writing a review on Penguin?

It's a very old method indeed.Something I think we did in art decades ago.New spin on it? Maybe but I was kinda hoping it was something new.It isn't and tbh having a portable gimmick say Jupiter gimmick, carried in your wallet.Would be much better and easy to ditch in and out.Nothing new I'm affraid.

I just tested the method, and with a bit of pressure it works, but its early an impromptu method with some limitations,
you better test the pen you are using before use it, oil based pens are much better, but still, you face a count-down time, does it works? well, if everything goes as expected, there is some result yes, will I be using this? just maybe at some point if you have nothing else, but that's it, I doubt anyone with a good imp-device find this to be much better. my advice? for use this, give the spectator a 3H or 4H hardness pencil, they wirte in very light color and forces the spectator to press it to get a stronger stroke its always good to know a back up option, so you decide if purchase is or not,

Again, the method is time restrictive, once you setup, you must perform quick. I guess that's the idea, "perform when you are in hurry and you have nothing else" i would not risk performing something like this on TV for example, I think fail risk is higher than using other methods,

Is this something I will use? NO, just in EXTREME case scenarios where I don't have my impression board for pr***ow either for stage or TV performances BUT I will not use this for a live performance. The information provided by Peter is gold as always which to me was worth the download. I would prefer to use an AN peek

Before I purchase this, could someone please inform me if this is the same method used in 'Take Note' by Seamus Maguire which came out a couple of years ago? It sounds very similar.

Also, I wanted to mention that you can set up the gimmick and it will work for a longer period of time. Many people seem to believe that you must perform immediately after doing the work.

Ok this is something I use for a very, very long time. The method is something any artist would be aware of. I have never seen this released but I am shure that it must be somewhere. The additional ideas are quite good but this is far from new. It is quite reliable if you know how.
