Hello guys , I just bought a Marked and Tapered deck and I'm looking for a good lecture where tricks are discussed using this deck . I'm familiar with Stripper tricks since I own the Stripper Deck by Daryl . So Basically I'm looking for routines with Marked Decks on a lecture ( penguin or att) something not so expensive . Thanks .

Rather than spending $45 on the book from the post above, which may or may not be a great book, if you are looking just for some ideas and effects with a marked deck you might just consider buying 1 deck of Penguins new marked decks as each purchase, be it a brick or one deck, you get a couple downloads to go with it by "AT LEAST" Rick Lax and Jon Armstrong http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/9178

Yeah the book is way too expensive , and the routines in the link Poof-Daddy gave me are amazing . Checking it out . Thank you guys for your help.

The classic deck from Theodoor DeLand (= DeLand's 100 Dollar Deck & DeLand's Automatic Deck) is both a marked deck and a stripper deck.
It comes with free online learning materials, and in my review here I've included links to a number of videos that have routines with the deck. Perhaps something there will help you out or give some ideas.  |

Luke Jermay has a great DVD lecture, when he was just 20 years old or something. Has a great effect that utilizes just what you ask about. You likely won't recognize it's use, most magi don't. Heck, they probably still don't know about this. Worth it.
It's not their senses that mislead, it's their assumptions.

Of late, I've been considering using a stripper deck as my normal deck for doing all my normal effects. My thinking is that if I get into a bind, or just want to relax a bit, I can use the taper feature to control a selection without any thought, and do any number of effects.
Has anyone here gone that direction? |

I wanted to update this message, to say that I recently received and read "A New Angle" by Plunkett & Feldman. This book really sheds new light on the oft forgotten stripper deck. Some of the effects are truly dramatic. In the book, there is plenty of new thinking and some very inventive creations. I'm now almost certain to use the stripper as my everyday deck from now on.

With a marker or an exacto knife you can mark any deck you'd like, takes about 30 mins

The best distraction with strippers is this:? when you are in Vegas is to get a stripper to walk in front of you right when you do your move.
