Can anyone point me towards a routine which starts with four cards in the hands, and they vanish one at a time? I haven't seen this and am wondering if anyone has done something like this before, I'm sure there are some out there. I'm particularly looking for something stand up and visual. Let me know if anything comes to mind. Thanks a bunch.

Very nice, thank you. Yes, this is the type of thing I'm looking for. Anyone else know of stand up versions? I've come up with some of my own work, but want to see what else is out there.

Marlo's "Real Gone Aces".
Only four cards. Four aces, queens, ... There is a private video where this routine is performed and explained by Marlo. Darko |

The Real Gone Aces effect has the format of an Ace Assembly - with three cards added on top of each tabled ace. In the three non-selected packets - the magician makes the ace vanish, so there's just three cards in the packet.
Do you have a URL for the video?

Here's a way of making cards vanish:

Thanks for all the help. I'll try to upload a video of what I have worked out. Can I post a video of my performance in this topic?

Looking forward to seeing what approach you took.
For reference, most any cards to pocket routine can be framed as a vanish sequence. Which suggests a perverse presentation where they arrive with signatures, odd backs, blank, smaller and maybe folded up into a container. Jerry? Jerry? More than halfway into the forest?

Hi
I'm uploading my video, be gentle, it's my first video upload and a rough idea in progress (but criticism encouraged). I just watched the Marlo routine, very nice, I'm going to study it a bit more. Thanks again everyone for sharing. https://youtu.be/0CzNQXE2dOY Best, Joe |

Thanks Joe,
That's a fun project. Do you have a larger effect of routine in mind that calls for cards vanishing?

Thanks. The way I originally came to think about it was after producing a four of a kind and doing an effect with them, in which the deck vanished, I would finish with the 4 cards vanishing and everything gone.

I've also played with the idea of after vanishing the final card, instead of ditching it, reproducing it from the spectators elbow or somewhere and giving it to them to keep.
