My apologies for not posting here sooner. I first discovered magic in college after stumbling onto some magic books at the local library. Just did stuff for family and friends. Developed an OK French drop and paddle move, and learned the importance of being one ahead in mentalism.
After college, I spent my career in the electronics industry as an engineer /technician. I am still doing that now for 40 plus years. I rediscovered my hobby of magic in 2015, and have been pursuing it more seriously, with a view towards part-time employment in magic. So far I have been employed as a strolling magician at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. Been having a blast. |

Welcome! Engineering and magic can often combine well, and electronics most definitely has it's place in modern magic.

Welcome Paulalpha,
A Ren. Faire is a great place to start. There, the people are generally open to connecting and having a good time. Learning to connect and engage (entertain) are the best lessons you can learn. Sounds like you are off to a great start. -Mary Mowder |

Howdy paulalpha!
I've been in my career of graphic design for 33 years, and gave up magic in college and then discovered it again about 10 years ago. I've been enjoying the rediscovery much more.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.
