Tomorrow, 5/28/18 as it's stated on magic websites that'll be stocking the item.

Cheers,

People do not realize it, but this is a very expensive trick.
You must buy new shoes that are at least two sizes larger than your normal shoe size.
Otherwise the steel socks do not fit and you sit with cramp in your feet all evening.

For sure. I want to know what I'm getting into, here. The thought of wearing steel socks is not creating pleasant thoughts for me.

I apologize for creating confusion.
I never thought that my mail would be taken seriously.

Ok.

I really had NO IDEA of what is involved as far as the secret, and I have seen some effects with BIZARRE secrets, so it was plausible.

My order arrived yesterday.

Initial reactions: Upon close inspection this is definitely not a jart (lawn dart). The quality has a somewhat DIY feel but from stage or in parlor-style situation it will work great. It reminded me of Estes model rocket with a dart point. It is not a prop you will be handing out to your spectators to examine.

Video Instructions: Short and to the point. Video instructions set to music with subtitles. There will be some practice involved to ensure a fluidity of motion but this should be well within the range of most magicians. I missed this in the description and it is unclear in the trailer but the card can be signed. If a signed card isn't important to you could probably perform this with even less practice.

The video instructions are just that, instructions. There is no routine here so you will have to come up with a compelling reason for introducing a lawn dart. For the type of magician this trick would appeal to I don't think this will be a problem. I think the trailer was shot on the same day as the instructions because the creator is wearing the same costume.

Restrictions: You don't need to wear metal socks but there is a small part of the prop that will need to go in your shoe. If your shoes are too small this might be a problem.

Review: Will I use this - definitely. Is it worth $60 - this is subjective given the quality of the prop, but for something I can see putting in my show right away - $60 is a bargain.

I am just wondering whether you can show the dart penetrate through the signed card ? Or can you show the hole on the cart ? I could not see clearly from the video.

Follow up on this effect because it looks like it has potential to me.
So is anyone actually performing this?
If you bought it but aren’t performing it, why not?
