Hi folks I am picking brains here but does anyone know the effect where a chosen card appears in the mouth after the magician has turned a full circle with his/her hands out to the side (hands free if you will) ?
I have searched the Café but keep finding the conventional card to mouth variations without the hands free element? I can't for the life of me think who I saw performing it ..... appreciate your responses thanks Nic |

The production of a selected card from the mouth has been written up before. (See Greater Magic page 308, The June 1975 issue of “The Linking Ring” in the Rick Johnsson column and my version in the January 1984 Warren Kaps issue of
M-U-M). I also posted my version on this on The Magician’s Forum on March 19, 2016 as a Perverse Magic climax to Slydini’s Helicopter Card. Effect 1 A card is selected, signed and shuffled back into the pack. 2 The deck is given to a spectator to shuffle and then spread the deck on the table face down. I explain that I, as a great magician will find the selected signed card. 3 I confidentially turn over a card. Wrong. I try again. Wrong! I try to say something but have trouble speaking. A card appears in my mouth. I reach to take the card with a clearly empty hand and sure enough it is the selected marked card. I am very confused! |

Nathan Kranzo's Instant Everything would be good for this.

Is it just me, or is there something vaguely erotic when a magician produces an item from an orifice?

Will look at Age and fool us but I small sure I've seen it somewhere else...
I suppose it's a variation of conventional card to mouth as it apparently transposes while everyone watches. Without any assistance from your hands... Hence handsfree... You are also free to talk beforehand proving the transposition as opposed to holding out. I thought this approach would be much better close up and not cause concern with your spectators due to the brief amount of time taken. Thinking here about opinions on cards held in the mouth for long periods and of course the biological fluids that may become part of the card. A quick rotation... And subsequent removal follows the 30 second rule for dropping food on the floor.. If you follow. Thanks to the suggestions so far and I welcome any more but I reiterate that it's not the effect where the card is held out within the mouth.. It appears held between the lips when you turn and your hands are no where near. Having looked at Nathan Kranzo instant anything.. I would say it looks close but it isn't entirely hands free as 1 hand is used... Not sure if it can be adapted? Nic |

You'll find it on Richard Sanders "Sanders Show" dvds. I believe on volume 1. Its called "behind my back" Fooled the heck out of me the first few times I saw him do it. I found this on YouTube. Its not Richard doing it but you get the idea.
Same trick anyway https://youtu.be/u9JpqUNRti8 |
