I need some help please. I have a Chalet wooden Finger Chopper #1826 with the name C Miller on the bottom. The nylon hinge is broken, where can I get another hinge for this? It looks like a 1/2 inch hinge. Can you help? Victor

That might be better asked down below in the Workshop area.

If you use Google search engine, enter "Nylon Hinges" you will see a lot of references on Amazon for small nylon hinges.
Or, you could go straight to www.amazon.com . Then you will have to measure the size you need. I did not know Chalet ever made a finger chopper or numbered their pieces. |

This was originally posted in the tech forum. I moved it here because he wasn't asking for methods to repair the hinge but where to get a replacement.
Victor, as I mentioned in my PM to you, you should read the forum descriptions before making a post. It takes awhile to get used to all of our areas but looking for the correct one saves a lot of time. The workshop forum is titled just that, "the workshop"

That would be the C Miller stamped on the bottom of his prop. As I recall there was an article about Miller in MAGIC magazine some years ago, interesting stuff.

Chalet never made the choppers. Clarence Miller did. He just passed away about a month ago.

Hello Richard
I am relatively certain George @ Chalet made the Clarence Miller apparatus after Miller had made them for some time. Later the manufacturing rights were acquired by George Robinson @ Viking. Julie |

You are right. He always had a real challenge keeping up with producing his regular larger items to fill orders.
I imagine that is why he didn't make many of The Impossible Penetration, nor did he make them for very long... Julie |
