Bought an interesting pecan crusted trout yesterday. Fried in olive oil. Had a nice hint of maple to it.
Also, I caramelized some crooked neck squash halves... OK, I let them go longer than I meant and they were just about to turn black. Had a hint of brown still on them. But man they tasted awesome. No burnt flavor and tons of delicious caramelization! Also been trying salmon burgers. They are tasty! Yeah, a local store had a sea food specialty weekend this weekend. |
